For four generations, the women in our family have carried the same spirit. A fire in our souls. Water in our veins.

We were raised by the Great Lakes, where endless shorelines taught us to wander, and every sunrise promised another adventure. We learned to chase dirt roads, explore hidden trails, watch storms roll across the water, and never stop wondering what waited around the next bend.

The lakes became more than where we lived—they became part of who we are.

They taught us strength without hardness, independence without loneliness, and resilience that runs as deep as the water itself. We find peace where the waves meet the shore, renewal beneath the warmth of the sun, and healing in quiet nights spent dancing beneath the moonlight.

No matter how far life carries us, the pull of home is always stronger. Like the tides, we leave to discover who we are, but we always return to where our roots began.

Great Lakes Cowgirl is a celebration of those women—the mothers, daughters, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers who taught us to live boldly, love deeply, and never lose our sense of wonder.
